Next-generation device for electronic tolling
The Tolling DSRC OBU is the next-generation device for the most widely used electronic tolling system in Italy and Europe.
Movyon Electronics, in collaboration with Movyon, developed the digital filtering algorithms and technology needed to develop the OBU, making the device as effective as possible in responding to DSRC dialog, with minimal power consumption and complete immunity to possible interference sources.
It also developed the test bench and several electronic boards to test the equipment, and defined the behavior of the new tag, developing the new algorithm in programmable logic (FPGA).
The device is capable of bistandard dialog with both Italian standards (ETSI ES 200 674-1 and UNI 10607), and with the European one (EN 15509).
