On-board device detection system
The On Board Unit is an advanced device designed for satellite-based tolling. Developed in collaboration with Movyon engineers, it enables toll payment through both satellite and DSRC technology.
Movyon Electronics designed the device from a digital hardware design perspective, interfacing with telecommunications peripherals (modem, Bluetooth, and DSRC module) and low-level software (on which Movyon developed the application logic of the various interoperable tolling scenarios in Europe).
